Moise Kean explains his rebirth
Moise Kean gave an interview to the New York Times in which he explained his rebirth with Fiorentina: "Soì many things have changed since I arrived here, like the prospects I have. Florence, as a city; believes in me and this has given me that extra gear to improve and do well. I watched some videos of Batistuta and Toni when I arrived".
"Florence è has always been a great soccer city and that means a lot to me,” added the purple center forward. They care about the jersey. They give you absolute warmth. This year it's very important for me to prove my worth. I came from a year that was not easy. I feel old becauseé I started so young…".
The Azzurri striker has not forgotten Juventus: "They taught me a lot of discipline. They took me from nothing. I was a street kid and they taught me a lot. I left home early and they were more than family to me. They threw me into the first team at 16 and è it was a dream".
To the tune of goals, already 11 in Serie A, Kean è returned to the national team: "I really care about it. It hurt me not to have been called to the European Championship last summer and not to have won the 2021 one. As I said, I learned from that as well. I have to prove that I deserve to be there. Every time you play for Italy you have to sweat and prove how important it is to wear that jersey. Now I just want to get on the field, score goals and whatever has to come up will come. I don't set myself any limits".
Final comment on the top scorer title: "Whyé not? È something that motivates me, è one of my goals. I like challenges and the one between me and Retegui (leading the league with 11 goals, ed.) è great because é è it's nice to have some challenge. If you have no one to push you, it è not as motivating".
