Not just Marcel Hirscher, Lindsey Vonn also returns to put skis on her feet
Lindsey Vonn puts her skis back on
After the athlete herself anticipated it during an interview with the "New York Times", the U.S. ski federersci announced that Lindsey Vonn is returning to the national team already this season. The decision to return to competition, they read "comes after careful consideration following knee surgery earlier this year. She's been able to resume training, test her knee in recent months and will continue her training in Colorado".
"Getting back to skiing without pain è has been an incredible experience. I look forward to returning to the team and continuing to share my knowledge of the sport with these amazing girls" these are Lindsey Vonn's first words.
"Lindsey has left an indelible imprint on alpine skiing and our organization during her career. We are thrilled to welcome her back. Her dedication and passion for alpine skiing is inspiring and we are happy to see her return to the snow to find out how far she can go" this, however, was the message from U.S, Ski & Snowboard President and CEO Sophie Goldschmidt.

I have never had the’opportunity’to be Lindsey’s teammate in the past, so the’opportunity’to ski alongside her è extremely exciting! I can’t wait to see what the U.S. women will be able to do this season” these, finally, are the words of compatriot Bella Wright.
Vonn achieved her first World Cup victory in 2004 and has won three Olympic medals, including a gold medal in downhill in Vancouver 2010, 4 overall and 16 specialty crystal balls, 8 medals at the world championships, 137 podiums and 82 World Cup victories.
