Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani lead Italy into semifinals

Italy has qualified for the semifinals of BJK Cup 2024. The quarter against Japan was decided at doubles, considering Elisabetta Cocciaretto’s defeat in the first singles and Paolini’s success in the second.
Olympic champions Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani enforced the law of the fittest against the Skuko Aoyama/Eri Hozumi pair, crushed by a score of 6-3 6-4 in 1 hour and 17 minutes of play.
The only thrill there'è was when Errani failed a comfortable smash in the deciding-point, but in Paolini’s service turn the Azzurre closed the score.
Italy è thus landed in the semifinals where it will face the winner of the challenge between the Czech Republic and Poland.
