Just five days later, Jannik Sinner repeated himself against Taylor Fritz, triumphing at the ATP Finals in Turin. In front of a home crowd, the world number one beat the American with a double 6-4, capping off a remarkable season in style.
After four quick games on serve, Sinner began to trouble Fritz on serve in the fifth game. The U.S., however, è well to rise from 0-30, taking a 3-2 lead. For Sinner, this is his eighth title of the season, sealing an outstanding 2024. In addition to the ATP Finals, the Italian won two Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open and Us Open), three Masters 1000s (Miami, Cincinnati and Shanghai) and two ATP 500s (Rotterdam and Halle), ending the year with 70 matches won out of 76.
