Bologna and Lewis Fergsuon are moving forward together. Through an official statement, in fact, the Rossoblù club announced the renewal of the Scottish midfielder, who extended his contract until 2028 with an option for one more season.

"Bologna Fc 1909 announces that it has reached an agreement with midfielder Lewis Ferguson for a contract extension until June 30, 2028, with an option for one’more season" reads the note from the Bologna club.

A victim of a serious knee injury (ruptured right cruciate ligament last April, ed.), Ferguson è returned to the field for only a few minutes in recent matches. The break for national teams may have helped the Scot, who hopes to get more minutes in upcoming challenges, starting with the match with Lazio, scheduled for Sunday at 8:45 p.m. at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

With the Rossoblù shirt, Ferguson has collected 68 total appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists.
