Lewis Hamilton shines on first night in Las Vegas

Lewis Hamilton ahead of everyone in the second free practice session of the Las Vegas GP, the third-to-last round of the 2024 F1 World Championship. The Mercedes Briton beat Lando Norris’ McLaren by just 11 thousandths.
Also doing well was George Russell, who was 190 thousandths behind his teammate, with the Silver Arrows looking set to be protagonists again on the Nevada city track.
The two Ferraris of Spaniard Carlos Sainz and Monegasque Charles Leclerc finished fourth and fifth, concentrating on the work ahead of the race weekend.
Badly the Red Bulls with both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, respectively, 17° and 18°, but with the Dutchman who even without winning could be crowned world champion on Sunday.
