Las Vegas, George Russell on pole ahead of Ferraris
F1, times
George Russell took pole position in Las Vegas in the GP that could give Max Verstappen his fourth consecutive world title on Sunday
The Mercedes driver è was virtually perfect, much to the chagrin of Carlos Sainz, who was 98 thousandths off. Mockery also for Charles Leclerc, who also finished on the shoulders of a surprising Pierre Gasly in the Alpine.
Third row for the two title contenders, Verstappen and Norris. Franco Colapinto è ended up against the wall heavily damaging his Williams but coming out fortunately without consequences.
