McLaren driver Lando Norris applauded Max Verstappen for winning the title: "The first thing I have to do è congratulate Max, because he deserved to win, he had a better season than me and he deserved more than anyone else". 

"Max simply has no weaknesses. When he has the best car then he dominates, but when he does not have the best car è always anyway theì. He drove fantastically, congratulations to him for what he è managed to achieve".

According to Norris, "Max would have beaten me even if I had a perfect season. He always manages to bring out the full potential of the car and that è impressive to see".
