Last year he had to forfeit but, in 2025, the preparation might change just to allow him to arrive at his best at the most important tennis event in the Bel Paese, ATP Finals aside.
Clay is not è a surface Sinner likes (he has won only one tournament on clay, in Umag in 2022, against Alcaraz) but, with the right training, the world No. 1 has all the makings of a "terraiolo" of the highest quality. After all, Roland Garros è one of the Azure's main goals. He will give something up but, surely, he will want to be present in Rome for the Internazionali d'Italia.
