F1, GP Qatar, McLaren one-two in Sprint: Piastri ahead of Norris

McLaren dominance in the last Sprint Race of the F1 season. On the Lusail track, in fact, Oscar Piastri triumphed, ahead of Lando Norris who gave victory to his teammate by surrendering the first position at the last corner before the straight. Third place for the Mercedes of George Russell.

Only fourth and fifth places for Ferrari with Carlos Sainz crossing the line before Charles Leclerc. It now complicates the situation for the Redhead in view of the Constructors’ World Championship with the British team that stretches to +30 in the standings and already on Sunday will have a chance to win the title.

Also scoring points are Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Nico Hulkenberg (Haas) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull). Closing out the top 10 are Pierre Gasly (Alpine) and Kevin Magnussen (Haas).
