Davis Cup, Finals in Italy from 2025 to 2027

The Davis Cup Finals are moving to Italy. From 2025 to 2027, the final stages (quarters, semifinals and final) of the top team competition in men’s tennis will be held in our country. This was announced by the ITF (International Tennis Federation) through an official statement.

The last three editions of the prestigious final stage were successfully hosted by the city of Malaga, in the region of Andalusia, Spain, attracting a whopping 65,000 spectators in the last edition. The 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 will be held in Bologna, Italy.

"2024 closes with the icing on the cake,” stressed FITP President Angelo Binaghi, “with a final (and umpteenth) recognition for Italian tennis after a year of memorable and historic triumphs: the International Federation has awarded FITP the organization of the next Davis Cup Finals, for three years. The decision follows the’four-year agreement to broadcast on SuperTennis the two top team competitions for nations".

"We can only be happy and proud; all Italian fans, in this way, will be able to follow our sport more and more live, and free on free-to-air TV. Our task è in fact, to make tennis more and more popular and prevent that the visibility of the exploits of our champions can be in any way limited" concluded the number one of Federtennis.

"We are pleased to cooperate with the FITP for the upcoming editions of the Davis Cup Final 8,” added David Haggerty, president of the ITF. Italy has a rich history in tennis and a proven ability to host world-class sporting events.  We would like to thank Malaga and Andalusia, as well as the Tennium and the Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET), an ITF member nation, for being great partners in helping us elevate the event to new levels over the past three years. We are confident that in the next three years, working with the FITP, we can take the Davis Cup even higher, providing an unforgettable experience for players and fans".
