Olimpia Milano, comes double commitment in Euroleague

The tight schedule is creating problems for EA7'EA7

After the feat in Istanbul with Fenerbahce, Olimpia fell at home to Tortona (98-94). Coach Messina, in the postgame, emphasized the difficulty of playing so many close games, pointing out that this is not just a problem for the red and white club.

"Difficult to play these close games, after playing away on Fridays, as seen by others, not only here in Italy. We tried, as in Cremona and Trapani, to move it to Monday, but this was not possible, given the upcoming double shift", the words of the coach of Olimpia.

Olimpia, which now è awaits a midweek Euroleague double-header. Both games are scheduled at the Forum. Wednesday is the challenge with Red Star, Friday with Villeurbanne. Milan has won five of its last six European games and has recovered in the standings (6-6 current record for the red-and-whites). Winning both games would mean getting firmly back into the Euroleague play-off zone.

Small detail. After the Euroleague doubleheader, Olimpia Milano will play again on Sunday, Dec. 8. At the Forum è scheduled for the championship big match with Virtus Bologna, the other team called to overtime this week in the Euroleague (Alba Berlin on Wednesday, Red Star on Friday).
