Very bad news at home Parma. É definitely serious the injury happened to Gabriel Charpentier. The Congolese striker, in fact, has è broken the Achilles tendon in his right leg. This was announced by the Emilian club itself through an official statement.
"The medical staff of Parma Calcio announces that the instrumental examinations, carried out on Monday, December 2, showed the rupture of the right Achilles tendon of the player Gabriel Charpentier – it reads. The Club, the technical staff and all teammates wish Gabriel to return to the field as soon as possible. Go Gabriel!".
Recovery times have not been announced by the club, but in all likelihood, the class '99 center forward will have to stay in the pits until the end of the season, returning to availability only at the beginning of next season.
So far Charpentier has collected 10 appearances in Serie A with the Ducali jersey, scoring one goal and providing 3 assists, two of which came just Sunday in the good home win against Lazio (3-1).
