Another broadside to Nick Kyrgios after attacks on Jannik Sinner
The Jannik Sinner affair continues to split the tennis world: after Taylor Fritz, Nick Kyrgios’ attacks on the Italian champion have also been answered by Mark Petchey, a well-known former British tennis player and now TV commentator. Petchey sharply stood up for the world number one, issuing a clear warning to the Australian tennis player.
"Kyrgios must stop,” he said in an interview with Betway. “Sinner è has been found innocent, and the WADA appeal will be heard shortly. Now we just have to wait for this".
"We have to let the process take its course becauseé è a matter of great importance, since è someone"’s career is at stake.
Kyrgios in a recent Australian Open podcast had "challenged" Jannik Sinner with a view to his return to the court: "Who would I want to play against? Jannik Sinner. I would love to challenge him at some point, maybe not in the first match … but it would definitely be a date to mark on my calendar".
