Richard Gasquet attacks sports justice over Jannik Sinner case
In an’interview with “The Depeche” Richard Gasquet heavily attacked sports justice regarding the doping cases involving Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner, with particular reference to the latter. Here are his words.
“The Sinner case è was mishandled. What worries me most è that the process is not understood. The trial, the deliberation and the ruling: you learn everything at once. Not è normal".
“È was told that Jannik è was found innocent. In the meantime we did not know anything. It è not professional. Sports justice è consists of amateurs. Everyone says that, è quite grotesque".
Richard Gasquet, 38, announced his retirement after he will è play the next Roland Garros, his home tournament. In his career è he was world No. 7 and won 16 ATP major circuit tournaments.
