NBA: Miami disintegrates Lakers, Fontecchio defeated in Boston

Six matches were staged on NBA night. In Miami, the Lakers collapsed against the Heat: record-breaking night for the hosts, who rifled 41 points off the yellow-viola (134-93). All easy for the Boston Celtics at home with the Detroit Pistons (130-120) Simone Fontecchio, on the court only 11 minutes with 4 points and 2 rebounds. Deprived of Jason Tatum, the Celtics are dragged by Jaylen Brown (28 points and 9 assists) and Kristaps Porzingis (26 points and 9 rebounds) and stay in the wake of the leader Cleveland in the East.

A night to forget also for the other Los Angeles team: the Clippers fall at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves (80-108), who send as many as six players into double figures: the best scorer è Julius Randle , author of 20 points; for the hosts Bones Hyland è the 'top scorer' with 18 points off the bench.

There is no rest for the Atlanta Hawks, who beat the Milwaukee Bucks on the road (104-119), clinching their fifth win in a row. Jalen Johnson (23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists) dragged the Hawks to the success that takes them into the playoff zone while Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 31 points and 11 rebounds were not enough for the Bucks.

Finally, the Orlando Magic and the Brooklyn Nets also win: the former, third in the East, conquer the court of the Philadelphia 76ers (102-106) thanks to a super night of Franz Wagner (35 points and 7 rebounds); the latter overcome the Indiana Pacers (99-90), in their fourth consecutive knockout, at home, led by an excellent Cam Johnson who scores 26 points and seven triples.
