Not just Jannik Sinner: now Nick Kyrgios also attacks Andy Roddick

Once again Nick Kyrgios è has been very active on social media with a series of posts particularly critical of Jannik Snner. The 29-year-old Australian is expected to return to the ATP circuit in Brisbane, a tournament straddling 2024 and 2025.

So while waiting to get his racket talking, Kyrgios continues to move his tongue, or rather, his keyboard. The Wimbledon 2022 finalist responded to an ironic post by a fan on X who ironically wished that Clostebol and trimetazidine, i.e., the substances Sinner and Iga Swiatek tested positive for, would become legal for all athletes, so as to ensure fairness and equity in the competition.

Here is Kyrgios’ response: “No thanks. It would be better if there were no people who cheat and you can soì look in the mirror knowing that you have achieved results without cheating". All accompanied by an eloquent crying emoticon. Then, a few hours later, Kyrgios shared another tweet.

This’other user wondered why é Andy Roddick was "pro-doping". The reference è to some statements by the former tennis player, who had pointed to Jannik Sinner's Italy as "an example to follow, and suggested that Roddick himself was using "magic creams" an assumption shared by the Australian, who posted the message on his own profile adding "probably", accompanying it with the ’emoticon a laugh.
