A wild Antropova beats Paola Egonu, Milan ko against Scandicci

Numia Vero Volley Milan è was defeated in Florence by Scandicci in the match valid for the twelfth day of the A1 Tigotà Series. The Consortium’s first women’s team, still without captain Orro, è surrendered at the tie-break to the Tuscan formation of Savino Del Bene. In the third set è Milan started strong again, and never looked back, despite Scandicci’s final comeback attempt: 22-25. 

It was the hosts, led by Antropova, who fought back forò decisively in the fourth set, winning it 25-20 and taking the challenge to the tie-break. Top scorer for Milan Egonu with 21 ground balls, followed by Daalderop and Sylla, both in double figures with 17 points. A couple of days of training and then back on the court: on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., the meneghine will be on the taraflex of the Opiquad Arena in Monza, for the Champions League match against Calcit Kamnik, the last match before the departure for the World Club Championship.
