Lazio beats Napoli again: Conte loses the lead, Atalanta in the lead

Lazio beats Napoli for the second time in four days: after Thursday’s knockout in the Coppa Italia at the Olimpico, Conte’s team cashed in an undoubtedly more painful defeat Sunday night in the Serie A Week 15 post-match played at the Stadio Maradona. The Biancocelesti won 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 78th minute by Isaksen, served by Noslin, again the decisive man after his hat trick in the week.

Thanks to this success, in the standings Lazio climbs to third place on 31 points, tied with Inter and Fiorentina, while Napoli remains 32 in second place: ahead of all there'è now in solitary Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta with 34 points.

First half with few scoring chances and balanced, the hosts started better and created a chance early on with McTominay. Lazio slowly gains confidence and Isaksen on 20' engages Meret. The pouring rain affects the match, making it more competitive and less technical.

The resumption more lively and spectacular, the two teams hit a wood each: at 52' Dele Bashiru with a conclusion from the distance rattles the crossbar of Meret’s goal, at 71' Anguissa hits the post with a header on the development of a corner. Shortly before, Baroni è was forced to replace the injured Romagnoli with Patric. Conte&#39s first change came at 76' with Neres in for Politano, while Baroni gave space to Italy Cup hero Noslin, in for Castellanos and immediately dangerous with a venomous conclusion.

At 78'the guests break the balance: the unleashed Noslin imbues Isaksen, who goes to the center and beats Meret with a left-footed shot, signing the 1-0. Conte threw Gilmour and Raspadori into the fray, at 83'the Azzurri protested an alleged holding in the box by Zaccagni but referee Colombo shot straight. Napoli could no longer make themselves dangerous and Lazio won three golden points.
