Possible Italian derby for Virgil van Dijk

In England, the future of Virgil van Dijk, whose contract with Liverpool è is nearing expiration, continues to hold sway: the Dutch defender has not yet reached an agreement for renewal with the Reds. 

According to CaughtOffside, but not only that, van Dijk is reportedly dissatisfied with the offer presented by the club: a stance that leaves open the possibility of a farewell with zero parameters, although the former Groningen, Celtic and Southampton player would seem to prefer to find a solution with Liverpool before considering other proposals from March.

The 33-year-old defender has already attracted the interest of several clubs, most notably Al-Nassr coached by Stefano Pioli. The Saudi club is reportedly ready to offer him a two-year contract with an option for a third year and figures, of course, decidedly hefty. 

On the European front, again according to the English portal, three top clubs have expressed their interest: Barcelona, Inter Milan and Juventus.
