The Azzurri statement does not establish the recovery time for the Georgian outside forward, who is expected to be in the pits for about a month. Kvaratskhelia thus risks having to end his 2024 early, returning in early January for the trip to Florence, when the Azzurri take on Fiorentina on Saturday 4 at 6 p.m. at the Franchi.
Kvaratskhelia has collected 15 Serie A appearances so far, including 14 as a starter, netting five goals and providing three assists.
