The French coach has no doubts about the rivalry between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner

During an interview given to the microphones of "Tennis Majors", French coach Patrick Mouratoglou, among other topics discussed, dwelt on Novak Djokovic&#39s ambitions for 2025 and the evolution of his rivalry with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

"For Djokovic to win another Slam è an immense challenge right now, because é tennis è resoundingly dominated by Alcaraz and Sinner. Novak and Andy have always had a very good relationship, they are the same age, they have two extremely similar playing styles and only time will tell if è it was the right decision" began the French coach.

"The only thing Nole needs now I think is motivation. He has already won the battle against Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal and this year he&#39s only going on the court with the right attitude at the Olympic Games to fulfill his dream of winning Olympic gold. He needs to regain that emotional drive that makes him want to win it all again. It's a big challenge, because Alcaraz and Sinner express an impressive level. It will become increasingly difficult for him to beat Carlos and especially Jannik, who has the same gifts as him. To beat him Novak will have toà regain a stratospheric physical and mental condition" added the Neuilly-sur-Seine native.

"It's crazy that Andy wants to return to the circuit now. Certainly Djokovic&#39s proposal was very difficult to refuse. You can't say no to the opportunity to coach the best player of all time. I cannot say I was not surprised by the news, I did not expect it" Patrick Mouratoglou concluded.
