The probable lineups

Saturday Serie A kicks off at 3 p.m. with an important challenge on both sides of the standings: Davide Nicola’s Cagliari will host the surprising league leader, Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta, which arrives sì from the Champions League defeat against Real Madrid, but also from nine consecutive league wins.

The Rossoblù interrupted in Florence a positive series (two draws against AC Milan and Genoa, before the victory with Hellas Verona) and are sailing in the less noble part of the standings, although they keep two points ahead of the relegation zone. On the field likely the use of a cautious 4-4-1-1, with Piccoli supported by Viola in attack.

On the other side, the Bergamasks will try to continue a path that has led them to first place alone in the standings (althoughé Inter and Fiorentina, who are three points apart, have one game less). Gasperini, who returns from disqualification, è ready to deploy a 3-4-2-1, with De Ketelaere and Lookman backing up Mateo Retegui.
