NBA Cup: Milwaukee and Oklahoma City go to the finals
The second edition of the NBA Cup will pit Milwaukee and Oklahoma City against each other. Two-way ball on the night of Dec. 18-19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
In the first semifinal, the Bucks hit the finals by outlasting Atlanta in a sprint. Protagonist of the match è Giannis Antetokounmpo with with 32 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. Good contribution also from Damian Lillard, who put 25 with seven assists. In the Hawks’ ranks, Trae Young’s double-double was not enough.
In the second semifinal, however, the Thunder s'impose themselves on Houston with a genuine show of strength thanks to a 70-point second half. The cover man è as always Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, but Hartenstein's 21 points, Jalen Williams's 20 and Lu Dort's 19 with 9 rebounds were also key. In the Rockets’ ranks, 32 combined points from the Thompson-Sengun duo were not enough.
