Receiving praise from one of the legends of Italian soccer è an honor that is often worth as much as a trophy won on the field: he can boast of it, from today, Marco Carnesecchi, Atalanta’s extreme defender, among the protagonists of the Nerazzurri’s ride that led the club to first place in Serie A and to dream big for the second half of the season.

Taken from Atalanta already at the youth level, after playing for Cesena, Carnesecchi did not immediately make a name for himself but had to face a path that led him on loan first to Trapani and then to Cremonese, where among other things he won promotion to the A 2022/2023.

Returning to base at the beginning of last year, he è alternated in the number 1 role with Juan Musso, winning the Europa League precisely as the Argentine's backup.
