KTM crisis, Pedro Acosta increasingly worried: manager’s outburst

KTM crisis, Pedro Acosta’s manager’s outburst
KTM’s crisis threatens to affect the MotoGP team as well, and Pedro Acosta is questioning what the team’s fate will be in the coming seasons. The Spanish rider’s manager, Albert Valera, at the microphones of Motorsport leaked the tension that is being felt after the latest news.
"It è was not easy news to digest. Fortunately, the MotoGP project will continue, so there’s no danger of not having a motorcycle next year, for’we wonder under what conditions we will be able to compete".
"In May we signed a contract with a winning project, with a’company that had generated tens of millions in profits and with the clear message that we were in a strong position to do battle with Ducati. KTM had told us they were a giant and could take on Ducati. Notè thatì and the situation worries us".
Acosta has a contract until 2026: "You canè break a contract when there’è a violation and at the moment KTM has committed none. For 2025 everything remains the same. They have asked us for patience for two-three months, until the restructuring plan is approved. Then we hope we can return to normalcyà. Now we have great doubts about what will happenà. I would not speak of betrayal, becauseé I am sure the racing department did not know the situation. Pedro è disappointed, when he signed he had the promise that he would get what he needed to fight for the world".
