Nerazzurri called to respond to Atalanta and Napoli

Luxury postponement as far as the 16th day of Serie A is concerned. Inter will be on stage at the Olimpico in Rome against Lazio, which is one of the teams in the best form of the moment. The Nerazzurri must respond to Atalanta and Napoli, both winners and, respectively, first and second in the overall standings.

Inzaghi returns to challenge his former team and decides to bet on the best lineup to take home the full spoils. Compared to the Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen, the Nerazzurri coach puts no less than five starters back on the field, confirming how much he wants to bring home the full spoils and forget the misstep with the Germans.

In front of Sommer, Bastoni, de Vrij and Bisseck will act. The midfield five will be Dimarco, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Barella and Dumfries. In attack, as was to be expected, it is back to the old fashioned way with the reintroduction of Thu-La. The two strikers have not been on the scoresheet together for about seven months. Too many for what è is considered one of the best offensive pairs in Serie A.

In particular, Inzaghi expects a lot from Lautaro Martinez. The Inter captain, unlike his French teammate (already 11 goals into the season), is struggling to find the way to goal. Scoring at the Stadio Olimpico, against Lazio (a team to which he has scored three career goals), could unlock the Toro side, eager to get back to celebrating like in the good old days.
