Former Milan striker Pietro Paolo Virdis expressed some of his perplexities about the 125th anniversary party of the Rossoneri club, which was staged on Sunday night at the San Siro before the league match against Genoa.

Virdis, as well as other glories of the club such as Franco Baresi, Marco Van Basten and Filippo Inzaghi, è paraded on the playing field and received a plaque from the meneghina society.

"A question forò we have ALL asked ourselves… you, società, organize a party for this important date… you bring in CHAMPIONS from’Holland, from Brazil, from Monza, from Milan… you parade them in the middle of the field holding up the trophies of OUR history, which remain in the HISTORY OF FOOTBALL and you don’t say the names?????", wrote Virdis on his social profiles.

"You don’t list them with the usual emphasis that accompanies the recitation of every lineup before every game? Whyé?… I ask for friends".
