"Hello everyone. I have been absent for a while but as you know, it has been a very difficult two months for my health. It was not è easy to give up racing and accepting it è was even more complicated, forò this time I had to listen to my physique.

I am struggling, putting my best foot forward, to be able to go back to doing what I love. Thanks to those who è been by my side, supported and comforted me during these months. See you soon" this is the message of the blue athlete.

The reigning biathlon world champion missed the first three stages of the new season due to a back problem she picked up during a training run. The Sappada native has decided to prioritize physical recovery without forcing her return with the goal of arriving in the best possible condition at the World Championships in Lenzerheide, scheduled from Feb. 12 to 23, 2025.
