Gustav Thoeni unbridled on Sofia Goggia: “She’s bionic.”

Gustav Thoeni doesn’t hold back on Sofia Goggia
In an interview with Libero, Gustav Thoeni commented on Sofia Goggia’s big comeback in the World Cup with her success in the SuperG in Beaver Creek: " Bionic: 10 months after a terrible accident for which many would have retired, what did Sofia do? She won a world cup race again. But not a slalom, a SuperG. And after her second place in the free 24 hours earlier".
"She won big, had only a small uncertainty on a jump but never lost speed" and è slipped away as she did before the injury. This è the mostù beautiful signal" added the legend of blue skiing.
The Bergamasque è returned to victory in the specialty one year after her last achievement in St. Moritz: "As an absolute champion. Champions there are many in the sport, outliers few. Those who start skiing now should keep her as an example".
Just in St. Moritz this weekend two SuperGs are scheduled, then in 2025 there will be the Alpine Skiing World Championships from February 4 to 16: "They will be held in Saalbach, where I did my last race in 1980. Let’s start with the girls: Sofia, if she continues like this and bad luck leaves her quiet, canò do everything in three disciplines".
