Inter, Taremi’s transformation: from goal man to assist man

Fourth assist of the season for the Nerazzurri striker
To date, Taremi has scored only one goal on the Inter shirt. His only goal è came in the Champions League match against Red Star at San Siro (on a penalty kick). Very little for a player who, at Porto, scored 64 goals in a total of 122 games.
Against Udinese, in the Coppa Italia, he had a great chance but hit the post, missing the appointment with the first goal on action. Fortunately, he è still made himself appreciated for the beautiful assist with which he put Arnautovic in the best condition to unlock the game with the Friulans.
"It would be important for Taremi to get unblocked as well. I know how much a goal counts for a striker but I look at the performance and his was there", the words of Nerazzurri coach Inzaghi in the post match of the Italian Cup challenge won 2-0 against Udinese.
He does not score but è still valuable. This is confirmed by his four assists this season (two in the Champions League, one in the league and one in the Italian Cup). Taremi, on the field, knows how to make himself useful, although, of course, he sorely misses scoring. Surely he will haveà more opportunities to show that he has not forgotten how to put the ball in the back of the net. A goal on action could really turn his season around.
