Napoli, Rudi Garcia demolishes Aurelio De Laurentiis and Walter Mazzarri

Rudi Garcia at the microphones of Le Media Carré by Raphael Domenach launched a scathing attack on Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis after his exoneration last season, the post-Scudetto season. Garcia had been exonerated in November and first Mazzarri and then Calzona had arrived in his place, with results to forget.

Garcia in the first place took a swipe right back at Mazzarri who had replaced him: "He has no class, he never thanked me for the points I left him and that a win was enough to qualify for the Champions League round of 16".

So he è lashed out at De Laurentiis: "The real coup would have been to keep me and maybe Napoli would have qualified for the Champions League, instead è finished tenth. De Laurentiis said he should have kicked me out as early as the presentation? Maybe he said those things because heé realized he&e was a bit of an asshole and to cover up certain mistakes".

"I thought I was dealing with a gentleman at first, instead De Laurentiis è turned out to be one who meddles in things that are not his business. I paid for telling him to stay in his place. He told me that if I did not listen to him he could not protect me. But I do not need to be protected".

And again: "When I arrived everyone wanted to leave and complained about being paid little. I tried to re-motivate the group. Giuntoli was gone and no one intervened when Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia did not agree to be replaced. De Laurentiis wanted me to have one player play 45 minutes and then others in the second half, but at 60 he doesn&#39t tell me who to send on the field. De Laurentiis understands cinema, but not much about football".
