The Wada man è one of the greatest experts in anti-doping

Important news regarding the "case" Jannik Sinner. Wada has made official the name of the judge who will participate, as a representative of the world anti-doping agency, in the Tas arbitration panel called to make a final decision on the issue involving Jannik Sinner.

Wada has chosen Ken Lalo. An Israeli (he has dual nationality, being also from the United States), è he is considered one of the top experts in anti-doping. He has been on the Sports Tribunal's list since as far back as 2011. In the environment he is said to be very intransigent.

As known, Jannik Sinner’s legal team has, instead, set its sights on Jeffrey Benz. A U.S. citizen, è he was the judge on whom tennis player Simona Halep relied, in the recent past, in the arbitration that saw, in the end, her disqualification for doping, due to a tainted supplement, diminished from four years to nine months.

With the appointment of two arbitrators, the chances of a settlement between Jannik Sinner and Wada are virtually slim. At this point there'è to wait for the appointment of the third judge, the one from Tas. It should be remembered that Wada has accepted that Jannik Sinner is not guilty but believes it should have supervised the work of its staff. Still unknown is the date of the start of the hearing. Several sources mention March as a possible month.
