Itas Trentino ready to re-embrace the friendly public

On Nov. 27, Itas Trentino played against Padova, winning 3-1, its last home match before a real tour de force between championship, CEV Cup and World Club Championship (where it was defeated in the final by Sada Cruzeiro). Twenty-nine days later, the team coached by Fabio Soli will find again the friendly public, in the match scheduled in Santo Stefano against Powervolley Milano.

"We are happy to finally be able to return to play in front of our audience especially for such an important match as Thursday’s,” Soli said at the match presentation. Milan è veteran of five wins in the last seven league matches and has a very important battery of forwards and hitters in addition to being very well organized in the wall and defense".

"For our part è it is true that we have only been back in Trento for a few hours, but I am convinced that being able to work again in our arena, receive the support and warmth of our fans will be fundamental for this engagement. The’approach to the match and the level of attention to developing an effective game will be the key to the’match" concluded the Itas coach.

Recovering from the win in Taranto last Sunday, Itas Trentino è is currently the second-strongest team in the league, with 30 points to its credit after 12 games played: ahead is only Perugia at 35, but the Umbrians have also played one more game. Trentino will also play in the Italian Cup before closing out 2024: the quarterfinal against Cisterna is scheduled for Sunday, 29.
