Jannik Sinner keeps his promise
He promised and he did. Jannik Sinner spent Christmas with his family in his native Sesto Pusteria, upholding a tradition dear to him: a ski trip on the feast day.
On the morning of December 25, as he did as a child, he è put on his skis and had fun on the Belvedere slope, at Plan de Corones, obviously without taking any risks.
As for the sports season, Sinner has chosen to start it directly at the Australian Open, a tournament in which he è is the defending champion. He will leave for Oceania, which will already have arrived on 2025, exactly on January 2: his coach Darren Cahill will be waiting for him.
On Jan. 7 è an exhibition match against Alexei Popyrin is scheduled, followed by another match, scheduled for the 10th, with an opponent yet to be determined. These events are part of "Opening Week", which precedes the first Slam of the’year and includes, in addition to qualifying for the main draw, charity matches that will feature top players, including Sinner himself.
