Seven matches played in Serie B at 3 p.m. in a nineteenth day opened by Pisa’s peremptory success over leading Sassuolo: 3-1 for the Tuscan Nerazzurri.
In the afternoon, two external successes arrived, with the ‘C’ factor playing a major role: in fact, it was Cremonese and Cittadella who won the full spoils away from home.
There were three draws, the pyrotechnic one in Brescia (3-3 with Modena), the one at the Picco, with Spezia catching up with Mantova in full recovery, and the one in Cosenza, which would be worth a separate chapter: the Silani drew at minute 106 (!) with Catanzaro in the Calabrian derby.
Two home successes were added to that of Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri: Reggiana signed them over Juve Stabia and Frosinone over Salernitana.
