Carlos Sainz, some believe in a return to Ferrari: his emotion

The farewell of many fans seems all but final.

Carlos Sainz and Ferrari will part ways in 2025, with the Spaniard restarting at Williams after ceding his seat to Lewis Hamilton. His four years in red, seasoned with as many victories, six pole positions and numerous podiums, have not, however, gone unnoticed by many fans who have decided to say goodbye to him by writing him numerous letters that have visibly moved him.

Showing them è was Ferrari itself via a video distributed on its official social channels. Here Sainz can be seen in plain clothes reading the thoughts dedicated to him by various official fan clubs of the Cavallino scattered in different parts of Italy and beyond. And, at the end of the clip, the Spaniard can be seen struggling to hold back tears.

The letters chosen by Ferrari come from Norma (province of Latina), Perugia, Forlì, San Martino di Bareggio (Milan) and Cosenza. "Dear Carlos, after four years together è it is difficult to find the right words to express our gratitude to you. You are an extraordinary ambassador of the Cavallino, and you have shown the world what it means to fight with heart and determination", are some of the messages addressed to Sainz.

"Thank you for all your victories in Ferrari. Especially the one in Singapore 2023, our only red beacon in an all-blue season,” Ferrari fans added.

We wish you the best, and may you continue your great career by achieving great results. We firmly believe that this is not a farewell, but a goodbye". Messages to which Sainz could only respond with a lapidary "How nice!", uttered with his heart in his throat.
