Carlo Ancelotti categorical about Milan’s choice

Speaking at the microphones of 'Rai Radio 1' during the program 'Radio Anch'io Sport', Carlo Ancelotti had his say, without hiding too much, on the exoneration of Paulo Fonseca, who as of tonight is no longer the Milan coach. The Real Madrid coach knows the Rossoneri reality very well, having experienced it as a player between 1987 and 1992 and as a coach between 2001 and 2009.

"Exoneration is part of a coach&#39s job, it è happened to me too,‖ said Ancelotti, who experienced exoneration at Bayern in 2017 and at Napoli two years later.

When there are problems, the responsibility falls squarely on the coach, who in times of difficulty, it must be acknowledged, è a fairly lonely man".

"We can discuss the modalities,"” added the Reggiolo coach, who is experiencing his fourth consecutive season (sixth overall) at Real Madrid, “but in the end there always remains sadness for a coach. How do we overcome it? We get over it and move on, sometimes when you close a door you open a door".

" Against us, Milan played a great game and deserved to win,” Ancelotti said again, talking about the direct clash right against Fonseca, dating back to last Nov. 5. Evidently, the club saw fit to change because there had been no continuity of results".
