Paulo Fonseca commented on Instagram on the end of his adventure as AC Milan coach, made official by the Rossoneri club the day after the home draw against Roma: "È time has come to say goodbye".

"I am proud to have worked for Milan and have always given my heart and soul to honor the history and tradition of this great club,” he added.

I would like to thank my staff, players, fans and all those who have supported me during my time in Milan. I wish the club the best for the future".
