Lorenzo Musetti drops at distance in Hong Kong, Jaume Munar wins

ATP Hong Kong: Jaume Munar-Lorenzo Musetti 2-6 7-6 7-5

Lorenzo Musetti's adventure at the Hong Kong ATP 250 ends in the quarterfinals. The Italian tennis player, in fact, è was defeated in three sets by Spaniard Jaume Munar with the score of 2-6 7-6 7-5, after two hours and thirty-six minutes of play.

In the first set, the Carrara native got off to an immediate rocket start with a five-games-to-one lead. At that point è only a formalityà for him to win the partial with the score of 6-2.

In the second set, Munar manages to find more continuity on serve and the match becomes very balanced. Both players, in fact, manage to keep their respective serving turns until the tie-break, where è the Spaniard to be more incisive and take the match to the third and decisive partial.

The third set begins with a veritable break fair, as evidenced by the four breaks in the first four games. As the match continued, however, è Musetti dropped and the Spaniard took advantage in the eleventh game by snatching his serve and going to serve for the match, where the 1997 class made no mistake and immediately closed the score by eliminating the Blue.

In the semifinals, Jaume Munar will face Alexandre Muller of France, who è won the French derby with Arthur Fils with a score of 3-6 6-3 6-1.
