NBA, Jimmy Butler no longer wants to stay in Miami
The 35-year-old all-star has been playing with the Heat since 2019
Jimmy Butler can’t take it anymore in Miami. The six-time All Star has made it known that he wants to be traded. The relationship with management has reportedly deteriorated so much that the former Chicago, Minnesota, and Philadelphia player would no longer want to wear the Heat jersey (he plays with Miami from 2019).
After the game lost to Indiana (128-115 the final), Jimmy Butler reiterated his willà to change franchises: "I want to regain the desire to play basketball and I really believe that it will not happenà here", his clear words reported by ESPN.
Not an easy situation to handle for the Heat board and, in particular, for Pat Riley who, however, has made it known that, at the moment, there'è no intention to include him in any possible trade. In short, Miami wants Jimmy Butler to stay at least until the end of the current season.
It should be remembered that the 35-year-old All Star è is expiring his contract with Miami ($49 million deal) and, as a result, he will be a free agent next summer and will be free to settle wherever he prefers. Whether the parties involved will find a way to move forward together until the end of the current season remains to be seen. To date, Jimmy Butler has played two NBA Finals, losing both (he reached them with the Miami Heat).
