22 years old, crystal-clear talent and, at last, the big chance to prove he can be one of the best in the circus. Liam Lawson is looking forward to what, on balance, è his first (full) season in F1. He will do so; driving a Red Bull, alongside four-time World Champion Max Verstappen.

Anyone who thinks the young New Zealander will act as a faithful squire to the Dutchman is sorely mistaken. In the few appearances on the track he has already made (11 GPs held, six rainbow points), the 22-year-old New Zealander has shown that he is not afraid of anything or anyone, on the contrary, the desire to excel has è manifested itself several times.

Now he will have; a Red Bull in his hands, so a single-seater that knows how to win. Helmut Marko, in a recent interview with Sport.de, explained how Liam Lawson is "… mentally the strongest of our youngsters". In fact, Red Bull decided to bet on him and not on Yuki Tsunoda who, after four years on the sidelines, thought he was the chosen one to be Max Verstappen’s sidekick.

Instead, there will be; Liam Lawson at the starting tapes of the 2025 F1 World Championship in a Red Bull suit. It is hard to say whether he will be able to challenge the four-time World Champion but, for sure, he will do everything not to end up like his predecessor Sergio Perez, ridiculed by the Dutchman (especially in the last season). Son of art (his father Eddie è a legend of two wheels), Liam Lawson è ready to show his talent on the track, first and foremost to his stablemate.
