Parma, Leandro Chichizola to greetings

Leandro Chichizola and Parma are saying goodbye. According to reports in the Secolo XIX, the Argentine goalkeeper is reportedly on his way back to Spezia in Liguria. Chichizola had already played there from 2014 to 2017, and now he would be one step away from returning. After Mouhamadou Sarr's injury, Spezia executives are on the hunt for a goalkeeper to flank current starter Stefano Gori. Already in the coming days Chichizola will be in La Spezia for medical examinations, and he should be announced shortly.

In Parma, Chichizola è second goalkeeper, while in Liguria he could play the starting position with Gori: Spezia has proposed to the player a two-year contract, with a salary down from the one he currently receives in the Crusaders.

If the deal is confirmed, Parma will have to decide how the Argentine goalkeeper will be replaced. Chichizola, who has been in Parma since 2022, has played 55 league games in the Ducal shirt.
