The words of Marco Giampaolo

These are the statements made in the press conference by Lecce coach Marco Giampaolo on the eve of the away match against Empoli, valid for the 20th day of Serie A.

"We find ourselves every week making adjustments and having to move players around. It's something frustrating, but we can&#39t feel sorry for ourselves. We have to move forward and be competitive. Tomorrow’s match will be as difficult as all the others. My players have to stay inside the game. I expect something more in terms of personality and the ability to read the game, which are two aspects that in 95 minutes shift the balance. A tough tour de force awaits us with three matches in 20 days" began the coach of the Salentini.

"We have to fill the penalty area better, some times we did it the right way against Genoa, but we missed the choice or the clearance. We have to work on this aspect. To be dangerous we have to move the ball and approach the opponent’s goal with as many players as possible" added the'former Sampdoria coach.

"Karlsson has had an extra weekù which helped him settle in better. He's a player who will be able to give us a hand. For me, the starter è the one who doesn&#39t lower the level of the team&#39s performance. I think he has many good qualities: he is quick, strong in one-on-one and very offensive. He has different characteristics than Morente. The important thing is that they all give it their all regardless of whether they start as starters or come in from the bench" commented Marco Giampaolo.
