Roma, Lorenzo Pellegrini breaks silence on future
During an interview given to the microphones of the "Gazzetta dello Sport", Lorenzo Pellegrini, after the goal he scored in the derby against Lazio, broke his silence regarding the recent period of difficulties and the rumors related to his possible farewell to Roma.
"There è was perhaps even a little too much talk about my mood. It was normal that I was angry, things were not going well for all of us. Ranieri è was exceptional, he gave me, the team and the city back the serenity we needed. He has put all things back together a bit here" began the captain of the Giallorossi.
"With Claudio we have found the way again, we are more positive looking to the future. Now we just have to work, think match by match and take the field putting on the helmet, as the coach says. I would love to death to take back what was taken from us in Budapest,” continued the Capitoline midfielder.
"I never thought about leaving. I have experienced many hard moments, but also wonderful ones. I am not one to run away, I believe that in front of difficulties; one has to take responsibility; and è what the coach read in my eyes before the derby. Here a good moment becomes wonderful and a bad one becomes a disaster. Rome è this, lives of passion and I live it one hundred percent" added the class of 1996.
"Sometimes it seems to me that my confidentiality, my being silent is a bit misrepresented, as if personality is just messing around. For me, invecem means being sè themselves. My exultation in the derby was a gesture to say that this for me è a special society, è my home. There will never be a day when Pellegrini will giveà anything less for Roma. it was just that. Beyond what is said about me and my other teammates, those who know us know that we come to Trigoria to do the good of the club. The commitment è always maximum, because for me this è a very special jersey" concluded Lorenzo Pellegrini.
