Dovbyk saves Roma in overtime in Bologna

After Inter’s narrow victory in Venezia, Sunday of the 20th day of Serie A continues with a pyrotechnic 2-2 between Roma and Bologna. At the Dall’Ara everything happens in the second half: The Giallorossi take the lead with Saelemaekers, then the Rossoblù reverse it in four minutes with Dallinga and a penalty by Ferguson but at the end of the game Dovbyk on a penalty makes it 2-2.
The hosts were dangerous after 10 minutes of play with Dallinga hurling a violent right-footer at the first post, deflected into the corner by Svilar. The guests responded on the half-hour mark first with a shot by Paredes from outside the box, repelled by Skorupski, and then with a header by Dovbyk, blocked by the same Rossoblù goalkeeper. Four minutes later Dybala gobbled up the lead by sending high from a few steps with his right foot. In the final Dominguez gave the Giallorossi the shivers with a right footer that ended up on the’outside of the net.
In the second half, Roma took the lead at 58' with Saelemaekers who went to the center and kicked with his left: Skorupski missed the intervention and the ball ended up in the net. Bologna's reaction, however, è vehemently: in 61' the Felsinians equalized with Dallinga who finalized a counterattack led to perfection by Dominguez; three minutes later Ferguson completed the comeback on a penalty kick. In the final però, Dovbyk mocks the Rossoblù at 98', converting a penalty awarded with the Var.
With this draw, Bologna and Roma climb respectively to 29 and 24 points in the standings: the Rossoblù remain firmly in seventh place, while the Giallorossi remain in tenth place.
