Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia get back on track in Cortina

On the track Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia, Marta Bassino, Laura Pirovano, Elena Curtoni, Roberta Melesi, Sara Thaler, Vicky Bernardi, Nadia Delago and Nicol Delago, who will be engaged on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 (11.00) in the two days of official training ahead of the downhill on Saturday, Jan. 18 (also at 11 a.m. with live television broadcast on Rai Due and Eurosport), while on Sunday, Jan. 19 è a super-giant is scheduled at 11 a.m.

On the Ampezzo slope, Italy boasts a total of 34 podiums at the women’s level, including 13 victories. Leading è Isolde Kostner with 5 triumphs, followed by Goggia with 3, then Deborah Compagnoni, Karen Putzer, Elena Fanchini, Daniela Merighetti and Elena Curtoni with 1.

There are also numerous side events that will see the Azzurri involved, starting on Friday, January 17 with the “Meet&Greet” with fans scheduled in Angelo Dibona Square at 6 p.m., followed on Saturday, January 18 at 6 p.m. also in the same square by the awards ceremony for the day’s race and the bib draw the following day.
