Jasmine Paolini is in a hurry: routed Renata Zarazua

Jasmine Paolini closed Renata Zarazua practice quickly at Rod Laver Arena: the Azzurra won in two sets, qualifying for the third round of the ongoing Australian Open women’s tournament in Melbourne. The Tuscan tennis player got the better of the Mexican in just over an hour and a quarter of play, imposing herself with the scores of 6-2, 6-3.

No problem for Jasmine Paolini, who netted five aces and served 67 percent of her first serves, enough to send her opponent into a crisis, who was in trouble when serving with both her first and second serves.

Paolini will face in the third round a very challenging opponent as the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina: the goal è to qualify among the top 16 at the Melbourne Slam for the first time in her career.

"I was nervous, the Rod Laver Arena è a fantastic court. Also training here è was fantastic – confessed Jasmine – Elina is playing really well, è a great champion, I will giveò 100%".
