Milan, not only Marcus Rashford: they are also targeting a defender

Two hot fronts to strengthen the team already in winter.
Milan soccer market: a new striker and a new defender to reinforce the team entrusted to Sergio Conceiçao. This is the goal of the Rossoneri management, intent in these hours to accelerate negotiations with Manchester United for Marcus Rashford, but which in the meantime has also been active in securing Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.
As stated by the 'Corriere dello Sport', the Rashford operation experienced an acceleration on Wednesday, when the Milan leadership had talks with the English striker's entourage. The real problem, currently, is the latter's agreement with Manchester United. The sì to the transfer to the Diavolo, however, would already be there.
Also reached was the agreement on the salary, with Rashford earning close to 3.5 million euros for six months. A significantly lower salary than the one guaranteed to him by Manchester United, and herein lies the crux: the Red Devils would in fact have to provide for the part of the salary not covered by Milan.
On the other hand, the matter for Jonathan Tah is different. The 1996 class central è in fact, his contract is expiring with Bayer Leverkusen, and precisely this could help Milan. The German champions have every interest in having the defender leave as early as this January, and precisely for this reason Furlani and Moncada went to Germany to verify the feasibility of the deal.
