Andy Roddick takes aim at Jannik Sinner

During an interview given to the microphones of "Betway, Andy Roddick, among other topics discussed, wanted to make a prediction on who among Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic has the best chances to triumph at the Australian Open, the first Slam of the new season.

Jannik è the favorite among the men and è the player I think will win the Australian Open. There'è the shadow of the WADA case over him and there'è also the possibility that this is the last time we will see him in a Slam for six months or a year. A lot depends on how the case develops, but I think he is the best player on cement in the world. He snatched this title from Novak Djokovic" began the former American tennis player.

"I think Sinner is still the player to beat and I certainly wouldn&#39t bet against him. Alcaraz è his closest rival, but everyone knows he has to find more consistency to be able to challenge Jannik. He won two Slams in 2024, which è crazy. We know that at his highest level he could be the best in the world, but the problem è the continuityè of performance" added the'former number one in the ATP Ranking.

"Alcaraz as è happened at last US Open è been less consistent than Jannik. Carlos has already achieved important milestones, but the fact that he is focused on what he can improve in makes him even more impressive" concluded Andy Roddick.
